Assemblies and Sections

Academic groups and committees are branches of Society and are composed of members and affiliates with similar interests in applying IoT and metaverse technologies to a wide range of areas such as big health and healthcare. Their purpose is to improve the collection, interpretation, and dissemination of information, to improve communication among members, and to participate in the planning of international conferences. The General Assembly is also responsible for creating and updating IAMM statements and position papers. Each IAMM member can choose to join up to two academic groups focusing on specific areas of interest to play a role.
