Founded in 2022, IAMM is the world’s first metaverse medicine association dedicated to advancing global metaverse medicine (MM) through multidisciplinary collaboration, education, and advocacy. The association focuses on leading scientific discoveries, promotes professional development, and is dedicated to impacting global MM medicine and greater health. Key areas of focus for members include (1) IoT medicine; (2) human-machine interfaces; (3) human-machine integration (virtual-real interaction); and (4) real-world research, as well as developing clinical practice guidelines, hosting annual international conferences, participating in the publication of Clinical eHealth journals, advocating for improved global macro health and healthcare, and developing a range of physician and patient education and professional development resources.
